The name August Strindberg is not usually associated with children’s theater, but he did write plays for children, including his final Chamber Play. This month “The Black Glove,” a lyrical fantasy directed by Robert Greer in verse translation by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey, is being staged by the August Strindberg Repertory Theatre.
During the month of March (March 4 thru April 1), August Strindberg Repertory Theatre will stage two Scandinavian plays in repertory: Journey in Light and Shadow by Danish novelist and playwright Stig Dalager, and Marty’s Shadow by acclaimed Swedish writer Stig Dagerman.
