Swedish Immigrants Tell Their Stories

A new book by Oregon writer Lars Nordström examines Swedish immigration to the United States in the post-Vietnam War era. Ten immigrants — five women and five men — share their stories of how they came to leave their native country and settle in the Pacific Northwest.
